Terms of use

Plain terms for a free tools site: no account, no warranty, your images stay yours, and why a portal check is guidance rather than an official decision.

Last reviewed 23 September 2026.

The short version

These tools are free, they run on your own device, and you keep every right to your own images. In exchange, they are provided as they are, with no guarantee that they suit any particular purpose.

Your images are yours

Using a tool here grants us no rights over your file whatsoever. We could not claim any in practice even if these terms said otherwise, because your images are never transmitted to us.

No warranty

The tools are provided "as is". They are tested, and the engineering behind them is documented, but no software is free of defects and this is offered at no charge.

⚠️ Keep your original file. Every tool produces a new image and never modifies the one you started from, but the sensible habit on any file that matters is to keep the original until you have checked the result.

Portal rules are guidance, not a decision

Some pages here state the photograph requirements of specific visa, passport and exam portals, and some tools check your file against them.

⛔ Passing a check on this site is not approval, and it is not immigration advice. It means the file did not break any rule we could measure in it. It cannot tell you whether the photograph itself is acceptable — head size and position, background, shadows, expression, or whether you have photographed a printed photo — and those are the most common reasons a photograph is rejected.

Every figure is sourced, dated and linked to the authority that published it, precisely so you can check it yourself. Portals change their requirements and rarely announce it. Where a figure could not be traced to an official source, it is labelled as reported rather than official, or left out entirely.

The decision on your application belongs to the authority you are applying to. Follow the source links and read their page.

Fair use

Use the tools for anything lawful. Do not attempt to attack, overload or interfere with the site or with other people using it.

Because the processing happens on your own machine, the practical limits you will meet are your device's memory and speed, not a quota imposed here.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of this site — including a rejected application, a lost or damaged file, or any indirect loss. If a legal system insists on some liability regardless, it is limited to what you paid to use the site, which is nothing.

⚠️ None of this removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Changes

These terms may change. The review date above shows when they last did.
